Lessons

Learning new activities is a great way to help your brain stay alert and engaged. The Woman’s Club provides lessons for all the activities offered: bridge, Mah Jongg, Hand and Foot, Mexican Train, and Crocheting & Knitting.  All lessons are available to non-members and members of the Woman’s Club. Below is more information about each of the activity lessons. You are welcome to attend!

RUBBER/PARTY BRIDGE LESSONS:

For rubber/party bridge lessons, call the Woman’s Club, 785-273-6978, to get your name on the list if you want to learn or improve your bridge game.  When we have enough people interested in learning, we’ll set up a group and decide on best meeting days and times.

CROCHET AND KNITTING

If you want to learn how to crochet or knit (or both), we have a blogger and designer available from Wheat State Wool Co. to teach you from the very basics to the more advanced techniques. Whether you are new to crochet/knitting or picking either up again after a time, come join in for some yarn and fun.

DUPLICATE BRIDGE LESSONS:

Are you ready to move into the world of Duplicate Bridge? Give Jan Tillery a call at 785-633-3682 to find out more.

All lessons are available to non-members and members of the Woman’s Club. Call the office to leave your name and number at 785-273-6978. Please indicate which lesson(s) you are interested in and we’ll get your message to the correct person!
