Program

11:15am: Portrayal of a Suffragette, Clarina Nichols, by Debra Powell.  Clarina Nichols isn’t as well known as other suffragettes, but her contributions are many.  “Nichols was involved in the temperance, abolition, and suffrage movements in the nineteenth century.  She became a passionate advocate for woman’s rights.”

She lived part of her life in Douglas and Wyandotte Counties of Kansas.  This sounds like a lady I’d like to know!  Come meet her as interpreted by Debra Powell.
